What a success!
The Breakfast with Santa event was a huge hit at The Hub!
The place was packed. More than 90 families attended, had breakfast, bid on baskets and snatched the cookies from the cookie tree.
And best of all, Ms. Marilyn and her family stopped by to say hi and get lots of hugs.
It was wonderful to see the NACC community come together.
Thank you to Patricia, Jaime, Meghan, Joy, Becca, Meredith, all the elves and other helpers who made the event such a success.
If you haven't already, check out some of the pictures taken at the event on our Facebook page.

Spread the word
We've had problems getting the word out to parents in some of the classrooms about our upcoming event and the blog.
So just a reminder to pass along the information about the "Breakfast with Santa" and the blog - when you're able - to current and former families.
I went through my email address book the other day and sent out a handful of emails to parents that I've had contact with in the past over birthday parties and play dates. Now, I wish the list was longer!

Comments are open - or they should be
I have heard that some of you might be trying to post comments on the blog but haven't been able to. I tinkered with the settings this afternoon and did a test comment on the first post from the blog. The comment posted.
You should be able to post regardless of whether you have a Google account or are a registered user.

What we are about
The news that Ms. Marilyn's cancer is spreading hit many of us parents hard. A group of us got together earlier this month to brainstorm ways to help Ms. Marilyn and to show her our love and support. We have many ideas for fun events for the kids and families and we will need your help!
This blog is intended to provide information to New Adventures families and alums about upcoming activities, volunteer opportunities and requests for help.
Stay tuned for more information.
