A night out for Ms. Marilyn

And now, onto the next event!

If you are looking for a night out after the madness of the holidays, consider this ....

There will be a benefit event for Ms. Marilyn at Six Olives, 2708 Sixth Ave., on Jan. 8 from 4 to 7 p.m. Tickets for "Miss Marilyn's Night Out" are $32 in advance and $36 at the door. (You must be 21 years old or older.)

Your ticket includes food, one beverage, raffle and live entertainment. Call 253-272-5574 to purchase tickets.

The proceeds will go toward helping Marilyn with her medical costs.

What a success!

The Breakfast with Santa event was a huge hit at The Hub!

The place was packed. More than 90 families attended, had breakfast, bid on baskets and snatched the cookies from the cookie tree.

And best of all, Ms. Marilyn and her family stopped by to say hi and get lots of hugs.

It was wonderful to see the NACC community come together.

Thank you to Patricia, Jaime, Meghan, Joy, Becca, Meredith, all the elves and other helpers who made the event such a success.

If you haven't already, check out some of the pictures taken at the event on our Facebook page.

Cookies, baskets need to be done Friday

Just a reminder that if you are baking cookies for the cookie tree or putting together a basket for the silent auction, both are due tomorrow.

You can drop off cookies in Reid Neal's cubbie outside the Tiny Tot room or get them to his mom, Meredith.

Baskets need to be in the Explorer classroom by 4 p.m. Friday. Becca Carey will pick them up and make sure they get to the "Breakfast with Santa" event.

Speaking of Santa and breakfast, see you all Saturday at The Hub.
